Trillium

I was out walking the dogs early this morning, after being woken by the sound of Jack vomiting. Thank goodness for tiled floors. I did my routine check on this trillium up the hill, and was pleased to see that it had reached the right shade of purple, and was illuminated by a narrow beam of sunlight through the trees. Once again I was in the right place at the right time, and all because of Jack's digestive problem. As I've said before, "It's an ill wind that blows no good".

This is one of the plants on my rescue list for when the bulldozers get close. I've already saved some trilliums and huckleberry bushes..
