Cow Dung

Once upon a time these flowers were found in meadows across the country - now you have to pay £5 in your local Garden Centre to find one, at least down here in the West country.
Cowslip translates to cow dung in Old English as they were mainly found close to cow pats as I discovered today! Lovely to see them in their natural habitat. Apparently they make good wine - I'd like to try some.
