In my other life...

For some time now, I have been receiving emails that I thought were spam - firstly from Swansons, a US vitamins supplier, then from a company called 'Michaels'. Then last year I started to get lots and lots of emails from people with the subject 'housekeeping'.

I never usually open spam, but was curious so I did a google search for any virus related to a 'housekeeping' title, but nothing came up, so I opened a few emails and read them. All were different and seemed quite genuine. All were applicants to be my housekeeper. Hmm... I hadn't asked for a housekeeper (oh my gosh I WISH). Some had CVs attached and all were from people in New Hampshire, on the other side of the pond from me here in the UK.

Curious, I checked the email address they'd been sent to - it was the one I had before I was married. Seems like the 'other' me had missed a dot out between her first and second names when posting the ad online, and has obviously made the same mistake again, or else the companies I have received messages from have made errors.

Thing is, I know her name (obviously as she has my maiden name); then from a Swansons order I was given her address in New Hampshire, and the other day I received the email pictured above from Chevrolet, so now I know what car she drives too. I have emailed the 'other' me, but she has so far remained silent.

She seems to have quite some life, with a posh car and a housekeeper, plus she must be pretty fit with all those vitamin supplements and dress well given the Michaels prices I've seen on her emails...but she doesn't have my Hubby and kids so it can't be all that brilliant being her, eh?

missed a blip on Saturday as I have been really poorly over the weekend. I was very ill on Friday night and then spent all Saturday in bed which, as any parent of a toddler and a baby knows, is not something I do lightly. I really didn't have the energy to move never mind do anything. Much better today, but still weak and a bit tired. Managed to get a photo of the girls last night, so backblipped yesterday.
