Hanging Lake

I've been hearing so much about this beautiful lake that I finally decided to go there (thanks to Matthew's suggestion). So we all packed up and headed out on this spur of the moment trip. Had it been better planned out we may have known earlier that dogs weren't actually allowed on the trail. But if we'd known ahead of time I probably wouldn't have been badass enough to bring him along anyway (and I never would have gotten the cutest picture of Butch that I had a hard time not posting).

Anyway, my photos of the overall lake were nothing special--the view was so spectacular that I had a hard time making it my own unique photo. Instead I opted for shots of my two good friends enjoying their views. oh, and this tree log was pretty neat, too.
