In bloom

I parked outside my flat this evening firstly to inspect the work on the roof, front slates have all been stripped and the new ones are going up nicely. I just hope that the rain holds off a bit over the next few weeks.

I then walked up to the polling station to place my vote. My street looks really pretty at the moment as all the trees are covered in blossom.

I'm starting to get really frustrated at my camera now. It's fine for point and click stuff like taking pictures at work and for holiday snaps but I'm really at the limits of what it can do with close ups and wide angle shots. I just can't capture the detail that I want.
