Reflections on Sunset

I just happened to have my eyes in the correct spot (and looking almost due North) to notice this reflection, of the setting sun. I'd been sorting out some rechargeable NiMH AA batteries, and with my black Sony W1 to hand, snapped this image.

Oh yes, the thin strip of sky on the right hand side is the reflection in a mirror. The main reflection is just in the window.

Batteries: Has anyone else experienced this? I use re-chargeable NiMH (nickel metal hydride) AA batteries in sets of four in my flash, and (less often) in my Pentax *istD or Sony W1. After good service, they have insufficient charge to power these high drain devices, but seem quite ok for use in a torch, radio, or the like. Is there a way to resuscitate them?
