Suspense
Walking back from the playpark at the Rocket Church we came across this scene. I only had the two older ones, one on each hand and we were all just really fascinated by the uplift of this car, its slow progress through the air, the slight dangling and then safe arrival on top of the lorry truck. Across the road another child was very absorbed by the whole scene too. While we were watching a car pulled up, nearly a bit too close to the dangling suspended car and the passenger got out and offered me a lift! She must have thought that this was my car and that I was watching it being removed in front of my eyes. Suffice to say that I thanked her and reassured her that it wasn't mine, had it been mine I don't think that I would have just stood there and watched patiently, I would have had a word to say (or two, or three).
Whoever you were thank you for the offer and I'm very glad we don't own a car and I don't drive so I will never be tempted to leave it for too long in a place that it shouldn't be.
