From the North

Mother's Day

Went to the local church to speak out poems today. Lots of different verbal and musical presentations were practised because the Mother's Day and - what a relief - the night was a success! I think I fumbled my first poem but luckily nobody seemed to notice that. After the programme everybody - the public and the performers - were served with coffee and other refreshments by a local restaurant keeper.

I've never really got over my great stage fever but now I think it has yielded it's grip a bit. That must mean a good thing even the little crowds are the worst pieces to face. The bigger the crowd is, the easier it is to face, I think.
