Clematis

THe evergreen clematis in the front garden has started to flower. At least the plants are happy with the dreich weather today. I ventured out to get some groceries, but otherwise today was a home day. It was lovely watching the guinea pig trio, who were ensconced indoors all day, chirruping in the cage and getting along so well. All three have discovered the shelf in the cage and like spending time up there away from the others. Mr Kipling was so happy that he popcorned his way along the shelf when he discovered it - hopping in the air and even rolling all over it. It's such a relief to know that the three are bonding and are happy in their new surroundings. Mr Kipling is even beginning to take food from my hand. The ladies are still too scared to do this, but the edge has come off their initial timidity so I hope trust isn't too far away.
