Ancient hedge laying.
This entry is kinda a follow-on from yesterday.
This is the remnants of a laid hedge in our village. It's not maintained. But you can see the branches that have been long entwined and woven around the others.
A lot of the hedges have now been left to grow wild, and many are as tall as trees now, especially the Hawthorn hedges.
It makes me wonder when and why they stopped it.
