Young at heart

Busy day today, lots to get done, then a mad dash to get to a party in Ayr.

It was my Aunt Nancy's surprise birthday party. She's 90 this month and her boys arranged a wee bit of a surprise for her. People came from far and wide to celebrate the occasion.

It was good to see my many cousins for a happy occasion, as it always seems to be funerals these days.

Nancy has long been the matriarch of my Mum's side of the family. Always a welcoming house, she has always been the focal point for visitors.

At 90 years old, she's as active and sprightly as she's always been. No stopping her.
