Kildeer eggs.

Kildeers are the cutest little long-legged birds! This is the second year we've seen a nest in the long grass. I think their eggs are beautiful. The birds pretend to be hurt when you get too close to their nests. They hobble and fall over and pretend to have a broken wing. I didn't make any friends today by taking a photo of their eggs but I left them untouched. I hope to get a pretty picture of one of those beautiful birds this week. I spent the day outside cutting grass and walking back and forth between our place and my inlaws' place. It was a nice day to work outside. The clouds kept it from getting too hot.

At some point this week I need to get a new photo of the parakeets, they are getting beautiful! The oldest one, Moe, is especially pretty. They aren't as scary looking anymore. We are giving two to my mother in law after they are weaned.

Now I'm off to wash butterfly tattoos off of my face before church tomorrow!
