Where the bee stucks.....
I have three established Rhododenrons that rather cleverly bloom in sequence. This one is flowering in the most magnificent way. I was very happy to see at huge number of bees on it, both bumble and I think, honey. I took hundreds of shots trying to capture them buzzing in and out of the flowers. I even managed to take some rather good ones of pollen covered bee bottoms and shiny wings, but I just love this one without any! I love the colours, the touch of greeny yellow, the burnt orange, the deep pink with the curling wave of white in front - all set off against the black background.
