Maceo C'mon now Brother put it, put it where it's

i collected two new bikes yesterday.

one will be built up into a fixed gear, monstercross bike. it's chocolate brown metallic with very special, gold-plated bits.
the other you see above. it is a full-carbon race bike and worth almost 4 times what i paid for my first car (and that was a capri 2 litre S!)

i built it last night with the intention of riding it on the club run with the boys this morning. the finishing touch would be to fit the pedals from my old bike. the problem came at about 10.30 when i couldn't find the keys to the shed. no keys = no pedals = no ride.

i looked for the keys until 1.30am

i slept for 5 hours or so before starting the hunt for the keys again

i even drove to work to check that i hadn't taken them there for some reason...


i found the keys at about 11am in my cycling helmet. exactly where i'd put them on thursday night after my ride home.



anyway, the rain paused for a couple of hours this evening and i finally got to ride it.

it's a bloomin' rocket-ship!
