Last days of the Dojo....

....Owen's judo class has met for more years than anyone can remember in a Victorian era converted church hall. It had that authentic 'ancient place of learning' feel about it; but also a collapsing floor, walls and roof. Fortunately, but with little or no help from sportscotland, they have secured new premises and the long term future of a club which has produced many British, European, Commonwealth and World champions.

Owen was ferried off for a day at the beach with some school chums; Nancy and I spent the day with LLCoolJim and Mrs CoolJim clearing the final furnishings from chummeryken's flat before it is sold next week.

Later, we enjoyed the evening sunshine, shopped at the French deli in Broughton Street and supped some beverages at Guilty Lily, before heading for home to enjoy the guilty french pleasures ;0)
