All the sights and smells!

Arrived this morning at 5.30am and got a taxi to the hotel we are staying at who let us check in early! We got changed and went for a swim, the water was so warm and the sand really hot!

We then went for a walk along street, there were so many sights and smells (most not good)! Stopped and had lunch in a shop on the street then back to the hotel for a sleep!

Another swim in the afternoon, the temperature outside was cooler than in the morning so it was much nicer, the water seemed hot! So many interesting people on the beach, from the tourists from other countries, to the locals trying to sell you any manner of thing!

Back to the room, had a shower, then went for a walk along beach. There were lots of restaurants who had set up tables on the sand for people to eat at, it was about 6.30pm and there was no-one eating yet! Everyone must stay up really late so they eat late!

We took advantage of that and had dinner by the beach at the restaurant attached to our hotel. Kaz and I decided to share and entree and a main. We chose a mixed entree plate and a creamy chicken curry for main. I don't like very spicy food and we had assumed that the creamy chicken curry wasn't spicy! Wrong!! It was sooo hot! Kaz likes a bit of spiciness in her food, but this was too hot for her as well! We had to order something else because we just couldn't eat it! The next dish, chicken and cashews was heaps better!

We then went for a walk along the main street, bought a bit of stuff, had an ice cream and came back to the room! It has been such a long day and we are exhausted! Places don't open here until about 12 midday so we are hoping to sleep in!

Today's blip was taken on the beach outside our hotel. It is amazing what the people carry around and try to sell you!!
