Sun flower

I took lots of quite nice pictures of cherry blossom today, which is my all-time favourite flower, but for some reason I have published this photograph of a decidedly non-living flower instead. It's made of stained glass and pewter and was a present from a very kind friend a few years back. I'm actually not keen on ornaments at all and most of the time this one lies on a shelf gathering dust. But today my newly washed windows were suddenly letting in a whole lot more light and this little bloom seemed just the thing to show it off.
