Kitchen Arsenal

These are some of my kitchen knives. Yes, I am a bit knife obsessed. Every single one is razor sharp, every single one gets used. (And no, no one needs so many.) My most treasured knife is the bottom one on the left - an oriental deba blade in Damascus steel with a sambar elk horn handle. It was made for me by a German friend who's a master knife maker. It cuts through carrots like butter.

This wasn't meant to be a show-off blip. Because today was cold and wet, I couldn't find anything blipworthy. Finally remembered to photograph these for some cooking friends who were asking me about them.
