Fields of green

I was brought up on a small West Yorkshire farm which like many others was based mainly on dairy farming. I still live in this area and the farms remain small with a diverse collection of animals (see the Alpaca last month!) It is lovely to see the fields green again and the lambs enjoying the pasture after the seemingly endless winter we have endured.

As well as the lambs and the greenness of this picture I love the background of fields criss crossed by sandstone dry stone walls so typical of Yorkshire uplands.

Just one of the many splendid sights on my way home --- and it's Friday!!
