The stage is set

for the biggest fiesta in Soller, es Firo. Various parts of the entertainment started last night (ask orisit, her house is that bit closer to the plaza!); today the chidren can see theatre shows and start to persuade their parents to buy the finest of all plastic toys. The main riot is on Monday, and I will have a surprise guest you may know. I've got to get another costume together!

This is the town hall where it will all end, with a rousing rendition of the Balanguera, the Mallorcan anthem. Actually I love it, the words are symbolic and stirring and the tune's not bad, especially when sung by a few thousand grubby Sollerics and Sollericas.
