LAX

The Theme Building at LAX. I'd entirely forgotten this iconic structure till I arrived at LAX. And didn't know it's history until I got home.

The restaurant is called 'The Encounter' Deb and I had lunch there just before my flight departed. Disney have turned the lift into a darkened zone complete with purple flashing lights and spooky music as in 'Beam me up Scotty'. JUST what we needed after such a spacey weekend - cue more fits of helpless giggles. Upstairs even more surreal decor - especially in the loo. Two fellow diners were so spooked they asked if they could PLEASE come in the lift with us as it was too weird on their own. I'm not entirely sure this is good for business - but it was a fittingly surreal end to a magical trip.
