Personally I blame the magpie !

There were feathers on the lawn this morning, not a million miles away from the bird table.

Last week I saw a magpie knock a collared dove off the bird table, scattering tail feathers, so I think I can guess the culprit. Mind you, next door's cat was skulking under the bushes........

But there was no body.
