Reuben's 3rd birthday

Just a few more birthday photos on a modest photo day.

There is much I wish to write of Reuben, my miraculous son, on this his first birthday. Poems, songs and prose, but for now I'll just recall the most precious moments on a day when Reuben was at the heart of his recouperation and the overwhelming memory is of Callum pulling Reuben along in the Radio Flyer Wagon or dodging the waves saying "wet, wet, wet".

Happy Birthday Reuben. Before you were born, I so longed for you, 6 long years. Nothing can compare to the joy you bring to my heart every day. You are truly astounding and I am so very proud to say I'm your Mother.
