Fall Colors in Spring

It was a busy day today. We started the day at the Bellingham Music Club meeting at Faith Lutheran Church on Northwest in Bellingham. It was the high school winners of the scholarships we give in vocal and instrumental performance. The kids were amazing. Every one of them was extremely talented and played and sang with grace and precision. I know we're going to see some of their names in the list of great performers in the future.

When we arrived at the church I grabbed a few photos before we went in. The dogwoods were in full bloom, actually a bit past their prime but amazing. The plants here were up against the building. If I hadn't known better I'd have said I was looking at fall foliage. But, no, here in Bellingham it's fully spring now.
