reflections

Water and light:
I am transfixed,
like the junky
addicted,
staring at the sun
until I'm blind,
swimming
in circles,
endless endless circles,
of expanding
and contracting
light,
burning my eyes,
piercing my brain,
until
the Earth
spins
far enough,
and I can see again.
