Lomography

There's at least one of my subscribers that will 'LMAO' at this blip.

If you're not familiar with the term lomography, it's an increasingly popular low-tech photography format.

It involves getting yourself a cheap, plastic camera, like a Holga or Diana. These are made of plastic, like a toy, with a plastic lens. You load it with some old, expired film, point, shoot and hope for the best.

It produces poor quality pictures with all the flaws, light leaks and grain we spend silly amounts of money trying to avoid with new-age digital cameras.

It's all in the art you see.

So this is my home made Holga. I reckoned it would work just fine, and you can see some of the shots I took. One is a bit under-exposed and one is way over-exposed, but I think I got the middle one just right.
