Kerria

...is one of the few plants I know the name of. It looks like a cross between bamboo and tiny yellow chrysathemums and it flowers in the spring. The cat wasn't pleased when we cut back the undergrowth around it to reveal his larder of half-eaten birds and small mammals. The cat is currently called Marmaduke but for a time he was called Fred West which suited him better. That or Psychokiller.
