Horses for courses
I was worrying about my wee Cousteau this morning, as I woke up to more vomit puddles on the carpet.
I made him a light breakfast of rice and chicken. He gulped it down and then looked at me as if he couldn't believe that was all he was getting.
I popped home from work early on to see if he was okay. No vomit, so all good.
A pretty good day at work, until lunchtime. I realised how high my stress levels were when my jaw started to ache. It's hard to be pleasant to some kids, but somehow I managed to keep my cool.
Then Cousteau and I headed over to see fernridge, her lovely kids and all their gorgeous animals.
On the left is Limelight, the stud (I think), and on the right, Peaches.
An hour or so of happy snapping later, Cousteau and I headed home. I picked some of my last tomatoes from my wee garden and then fed my boys. Cousteau has had more chicken and rice and seems to be holding his own.
I'm going to have an early night.
Happy hump day.
