It's a hard life for a woodpecker!

Here's what I imagine this little downy woodpecker was thinking as she peered into the hole in the tree:

"Kinda dark in there.
Hard to tell if I drilled this hole deep enough.
Nope, maybe not. Guess I'll drill a little longer.
I'm telling you, this is hard work!"

After all her hard work, she decided to lean back and take a little rest.
