Squirrel Food

Much to my surprise, I caught a squirrel feeding on the blossoms of my Flowering Maple, Abutilon sp., this afternoon--just the green sepals, however, he let the petals drop. He was camera shy and soon disappeared, so here's what he's been snacking on. Fortunately, my bush is loaded with blossoms and I can spare him some.
