Biebrza marshes

Next stage of the Poland trip: the Biebrza marshes. Uniqueness of this nature reserve: nowhere along its 165 km course it has been tampered with by man. No dams, no dykes, no straightening, no nothing. This can't be found anywhere anymore, at least not in this part of the world. It has resulted in a unique landscape of an extreme meandering river with accompanying marshes, in which many species found their perfect habitats. Elks, wolves and many, many birds. Fabulous place.

This is Martijn by the way, one of the students.
