Storyteller Series - #37 North Park support blip
... continuing our virtual tour....
"
"I beg your pardon", I know I "promised you a rose garden" and The Children Bench today, but I was at the grocer's and passed the North Park sign and HAD to blip it since it goes so well with the blip from the other day!
This is shooting northwest across University Ave. towards the intersection of Kansas St. and University from the bus stop almost at the corner of 30th St. and University. It's not quite the same angle of the tile in the bench, but they did take some liberties with the angle of the sign, because it wouldn't be readable it I blipped the building as it appears in the tile. The businesses in this corner of the building starting at the outside corner are:Claire De Lune Coffee Lounge (stays open until Midnight on Fri/Sat), Off the Record which sells the original black vinyl records of days long past, and the Salvation Army Thrift Store - note that they included the yellowness of their sign in the tile, but omitted the verbiage.
I just had to show you that this landmark is still in existence and not just a tile memory.
The featured designing artist In Today's Views.... is Sayoko Kay Mura.
