Summer is here!

This is a little town called Evinston. It is mostly farmland owned by several generations of families. It also has the oldest working post office in the state of Florida. Every year when summer comes all the blackeyed Susan's appear.
The correct name for these flowers are Coreopsis. The wildflowers phlox and blackeyed Susan's all bloom together. It is a breath taking sight it was 97 degrees while I was out photographing these. I was ready to get home into the air conditioning. I had so many photos to choose from but I loved this one going up these people's lane to their farm. Enjoy!
