Memories Of Granda

An enjoyable 5 mile walk along the beach today. The first bluebells are just breaking through here now.

It's odd sometimes how memories are triggered.Bluebells remind me of Scotland... and my Granda ...why you may ask?

Bluebell were the brand of matches he used to use to light up his Capstan Full Strength!

He passed awayover 25 years ago now but is still in my thoughts.I can hear him now talking about his days as a Trawler Skipper ...such memories!
