Old vs New

We wanted to build a really ultra modern extension to our 1900's house, unfortunately this is the nearest we were allowed because of one silly planning reason or another. We might try and by pass some of those silly planning laws and do something radical at the front.

It does however, pose interesting questions, can new and old successfully meet? Have we infact just stuck a glass box on the side of our house?

Throughout chez La La Lady there are mixes of old and new, I think we make them work, others think it is silly. They don't get invited back ;)

Silly seems to be my word of the day.

I have been very blip-slack, mainly due to being away for the weekend, having a crap wifi signal, and also being a little bit drunk. Happy Days
