Thistle Down

Make Believe

Where Fairies dance,
And from the pathway leave.
I scurry to the edges,
So I can make-believe.

For I too...am a fairy,
I swing upon the bars.
I travel to the Milky-Way,
And catch upon the stars.

I see the galaxies beyond,
All touched in liquid-pink.
And from the rain-bows nectar cups,
They take a little drink.

And pass on to the horizon,
In a filmy, frosted ray.
Where glistening little droplets,
Form a misty spray.

And colors cross the sky-line,
Into a pastel weave.
While I stand in amazement,
I lisp...in make-believe.
