Another very humid day, even more so than yesterday, perfect black fly weather, so I was trapped inside again.

I love the squalls we get during spring and summer, usually in the afternoon. For one thing, they're brief and they usually blow out the humid and bring nice, cool air.

I sit on the steps of the deck and watch them roll in until the lightening or rain starts. They bring enough winds to blow the bugs away and feel so good. Sometimes they're really intense storms but today it was mostly just dark with a bit of rain, some strong winds and then it blew right out leaving cool, fresh air behind.
