Long day, last day

Last day of being 18... !
Got up around 5am to catch the 6:50am train to Birmingham New Street... unfortunately it didn't turn up for 25minutes after its apparent arrival time due to 'planned works' - if they were planned then why wasn't I told!!?

Anyway, this made me miss my connecting train in BNS, thus had to wait 2hrs for the next train to Aber. THEN, when I finally got to Aber, there were no busses running to had to carry everything up the hill - booo! Well, that's the days exercise done! Very empty flat at the mo, only 3 of us out of a normal full house of 7. 17 people tomorrow though, for my birthday :D yay

Wind band in the evening, final rehearsal for the May Ball on friday.

Couldn't really find an appropriate blip for today so started messing when I got back from band. Eventually came up with this composition of light and glass of water... amazing what you can do by lengthening a shutter speed and using a bit of good old ingenuity :D Normally a bit too abstract for my style but always nice to broaden ones horizons...
