Danger - Construction Site

Imagine my surprise as I turned into this crumbling corner of the city.

Having spent the morning on a photographic journey through the higgledy-piggledy urban jungle of Edinburgh, this was a breath of fresh air. Let into the compound by a returning construction worker, I was pleased to take in this expression of creativity front-on.

My rough edit seems appropriate to the subject: the view in real-life was just as course-hewn.

These days, I am intrigued by the role that our physical surrounding play in defining how we interact. I've never studied acedemic architecture, but I'm convinced (if only by its effect on me) that this opportunistic outpouring will make people smile at each other.
