Rape Seed...

The yellow fields of rape seed always remind me of summer & my home county of Cambridgeshire. It seemed whenever I went on holiday when I was younger and drove back there were suddenly fields of yellow as far as you can see. This field is in Suffolk and was outside the Bed & Breakfast we stayed at. It was difficult to photgraph as it doesn't look much close up, it's too fine to hold Playmobil plus there's my normal problem of not being able to get close Playmobil in focus with far away fields.

I just want to share where we stayed, Apple Mount Farmhouse near Lavenham, Suffolk. Our room in the barn was spectacular, breakfasts scrummy, dip in the pool refreshing & hospitality perfect! Highly recommended....

When we got back from Suffolk I went over to the Cotswolds. It was my best friend from school's 40th Birthday. She was having a pamper day that I couldn't go to as we were away but I (and my friend who babysat while we were away) went along to the restaurant & surprised her. She jumped out of her skin! So glad I didn't miss it. Mine next month......
