Hawea Bike Trail

This weekend I went to Wanaka with 4 friends with our bikes & point & shoot cameras.

The first ride was to Hawea, the weather wasn't looking that great but we kept going! a southerly behind & nor west rain infront!

We followed the river from Albert's Town

The first thing you have to do is cross over the river which is a brand new swing bridge, the trail is new & is going to be much used I'm sure.

We had lunch at the cafe & biked back, much easier going back, the sun was shineing and it must have been down hill as we got back much quicker than we thought.

Great scenery.
