Keeping the memories bright

Went to visit the graves of the allied soldiers who died during the building of the Burma railway. It is the neatest area of the whole town and workers were busy polishing headstones in readiness for Anzac day. Many more Asian workers died but they did not keep such meticulous records so their graves are unrecorded.
