All the fun of the fair

When I drove into Northampton through the park, the Bank Holiday funfair was in town; all gaily lit and screaming with bright neon colour. I noticed the poster had said it was open untill 10:30 that evening, so I thought that since I've not taken any pictures of the sea, or funfairs, that I would fulfill at least one of those ambitions. I arrive there on foot with camera ready at a quarter to ten - and it was closed. It was in darkness and virtually deserted except for a number of drunken chavs who seemed to take delight in chucking glass bottles into the road.

I could have challenged them, but I watch the news. It seems that we have now managed to develop a sub-species who cannot be reasoned with, they seem to take it as a personal insult if anyone tries. Their answer is violence. This probably places them lower than wild animals in the evolutionary scale, except that this bunch seem to think that they should have rights. Sod that.

I dived into the park, took a quick blip of the local museum, and fucked off home.
