Butterfly

Went to the Hortus Botanicus in Haren (near the capitalcity Groningen). There are all kind of different gardens in which I hoped to get me some nice pictures of flowers and butterflies.
Guess it's still too early in season 'cause the only butterfly I spotted was this one. And I even can't find out what it's called.
(After some time spent on Google I found its name: Anthocharis cardamines, or oranjetipje (orangetip).
This is the male, the female has no orange but is white with black tips
Did get some other nice pictures too but I haven't seen this kind of butterfly before so this is my find-of-the-day.
Even more so because I live in a new build area where there is not much wildlife to find. So every sign of nature is making me happy.

Did like these gorgious looking flowers too. They just look like candy.

Along a small canal I found these blossom trees. Thought the coloring was perfect.
