Meet Mr Kipling
There's a new boy in the household. Mr Kipling has just arrived and has created much excitement in the hutch. The ladies are flirting in a Big Way. There's a lot of popcorning, preening and rumble-strutting, and luckily no complaints. Mr Kipling had been at the rescue centre for several months and hadn't been adopted because he nips. While the lady was telling me this, Mr K was trying to eat the zip of my jacket, my thumb (only nibbling, not biting) and eventually the piece of cabbage that was found to stop him tasting my t-shirt.
So, it seems that the ladies approve of their new friend. I don't think the hutch will be a quiet place any more - I hope Mr K brings the ladies out of their hiding place under the vet bed. It seems he has the magic touch since they're all out on the grass in the run instead of hiding in the Eglu.
On other news today, I've been shopping for doors. It's not as exciting as a guinea pig love story so I won't say any more.
I have a late night film to watch tonight at the Sci-Fi film festival - Hunter Prey.
