A shepherd and his sheep

A crofter herds a ewe and her lamb along the village road in Swordale, 4 miles east of Stornoway. Sheep are notoriously unpredictable, so the car was stopped until these two plus their shepherd had gone by. Incidentally, they had to go in the opposite direction to what they are facing in the picture!
