One of my best mates

This is Ms Forbes. She is astonishingly intelligent, lovely, kind, thoughtful and generous and I feel very very lucky that she is one of my closest friends. She is also the worst possible influence. This July will not be the first time that we head off (or the last I hope) to New York for a short break, on a whim, aided and abetted in the decision to book, by the best part of an evening's supply of wine. I hope that we will always be friends.
