Cherry blossom too
Another of my favourite Spring blossoms. They were not as abundant in Switzerland as they are here in Edinburgh but they always bloom more or less on my birthday so I like them for that too.
Success at the swimming lessons today, L stayed in the water after her lesson had finished and helped A into the water. A had brought her favourite bathtoy with her and was allowed to take it in the water with her. After an initial reluctance she got in at the deep end and paddled about happily. Hurray!
I'm going to ignore the fact that she told me just before falling asleep that she will never ever go swimming again. I was really proud of her getting into the water so much more easily and hope that by next week she'll have gathered her courage again and with a little help from her sister and bathtoy she'll take the plunge again (literally!).
After swimming I had to take L to the dentist, a bit of tooth had broken off and was starting to niggle her so the dentist was really patient with her and explained the whole procedure to her so that she would open her mouth fairly happily and not be surprised. The drill was called "tooth cleaner" and L was allowed to touch the "hoover" that sucked up all the moisture. The "tooth cleaning" did not take too long and she therefore made it through the procedure fairly quickly and without screaming.
A quick walk through the sunshine and back to the house where the constant chaos is getting me down. I will have to start decluttering or we'll all go mad. Anybody needing some baby girls clothes ages 0-24 mths?
