Adam Ondra at Malham Cove

This was an exciting day for me! To non-climbers it's probably a bit odd to get excited about a 17 year-old czech lad contorting themselves on a bit of limestone - but to me, having one of the worlds top two climbers coming to try the hardest routes on one of your local crags is pretty mindblowingly exciting!
Suffice to say that his climbing is in a way art. Power and precision, technique and improvisation - all flowing together as a harmonious whole. I couldn't begin to capture it in a still photograph, taken off the cuff with no set-up, but I did my best!
