The Final Farewell...

Thursday evening - the Final Farewell bash for the distillery at the Crowne Plaza in Glasgow. I thought it was going to be totally amazing but in reality it was just ok. Food was ok (fillet steak was a little chewy though...), no proper dancing to speak of, just background music - didn't stop us girlies though! And too much free alcohol... This included a tot of Port Dundas Single Grain whisky to accompany the second course which was a haggis filo parcel thing, and a 'frozen' tot of Johnnie Walker Gold in a wine glass to accompany dessert. Both of these were pretty horrid and so had to be swiftly washed down with a gin & tonic... :-)

To be honest the best part of the day was the manicure I had in the afternoon before getting ready for the do! Never had one before, but it was so nice & relaxing to get someone to paint my nails for me since I'm so rubbish at doing it myself!!!
